Aikido at Hawks Hill is dedicated to the transformation and harmony of the individual through physical training in the Japanese martial art of aikido. Through consistent practice, one can expect improved physicality, sleep quality, mental clarity, and sense of wellbeing. However it is not to say that the practice is easy; the dojo will challenge the ability of each individual whether physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. Through perseverance, patience and commitment to oneself, the individual can overcome these challenges in order to cultivate a more harmonious and peaceful existence. It is expected that one bring a bold and eager spirit as well as a commitment to themselves and their fellow members. The dojo is a refuge from the chaotic day-to-day and a place for polishing oneself into a beautiful jewel.
