telehealth therapy

Therapy is primarily offered through secure telehealth for clients located anywhere in New York State. Telehealth allows you to access consistent, private support from a space that feels comfortable, familiar, and convenient — without the added time or travel of coming to an office.

This format may be especially helpful for busy professionals, rural clients, caregivers, first responders, medical professionals, law enforcement, judicial professionals, executives, business owners, helping professionals, and others with demanding schedules or privacy concerns.

what you need to begin

For telehealth therapy, you will need a private space, reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone. Please choose a location where you can speak freely without others around and are unlikely to be interrupted.

Headphones can be helpful for added privacy. Sessions should not be attended while driving, in public places, or anywhere confidentiality cannot reasonably be maintained.

New York state Location Requirement

Lisa is licensed to provide mental health counseling to clients located in New York State. Clients must be physically located in New York at the time of each session unless otherwise discussed and legally permitted. You do not need to be a resident of New York to see Lisa; you only need to be physically located in New York for each session.

If you travel frequently or may be outside of New York during scheduled sessions, please discuss this before booking.

In-Person Availability

Select in-person therapy sessions may be available on a case-by-case basis at Lisa’s discretion, including outdoor walk-and-talk sessions when clinically appropriate and weather permits. In-office therapy availability is coming soon.

Getting Started

New clients may begin by requesting a 15-minute consultation to determine fit, availability, and appropriate next steps.
